Seven ways to listen to God's voice

Do you realize that God is speaking to you in your daily life?

I began to enjoy prayer after discovering that God responds when I pray. God can speak to us in many ways, but I will share seven ways that God used to speak to His people in the Bible.

  1. 1. God will speak through dreams.

In the Book of Genesis, we find that God spoke to Abimelek through a dream to warn the king of Gerar about his attempt to marry Sarah, the wife of Abraham, just because he didn't know the truth. But God came to Abimelek in a dream one night and said to him, "You are as good as dead because of the woman you have taken; she is a married woman." (Genesis 20:3) Besides this instance, God also spoke in a dream to the magi in Jesus' time to warn them not to return to Herod, but told them to leave the country by another way.(Matthew 2:12). Yes, God will speak to us in a dream even today, so develop the habit of recalling your dream in your mind before you wake up (because once you wake up, you will probably forget it) and try to record it as soon as possible on your notepad or mobile phone before you forget it. It will be the first step to understanding what God is trying to communicate to you in your dream before you know the interpretation of it.

     2. God will speak through visions.

The Spirit of God revealed a vision to the prophet Ezekiel (Ezekiel 11:25). The prophet was being led to the exiles in Babylonia. Daniel also saw a vision of the Lord on the bank of the river Tigris during the time of Cyrus, king of Persia.(Daniel 10:7). Does God only speak to people with a vision in the Old Testament? No, look at Peter in Acts 10:9-16 and 11:5). In a vision, God spoke to the apostle about the gentiles also being welcome to the kingdom of God as well.

     3. God will speak through the prophets, or people with prophetic gifts.

Without the prophets, we wouldn’t be able to understand God’s will at a particular moment of time, such as when God used the prophet Jonah to call for the repentance of the residents of Nineveh even though the prophet didn’t even want to go to this city in the beginning. The prophet Agapus passed a message of warning to the church that there was going to be a big feminine coming to the entire Roman world, so the church could prepare for all these issues when they finally came true in the reign of Claudius. (Acts 11:27-30) The Bible also mentions that there are nine spiritual gifts, and one of them is the gift of prophecy, or what some people would call a prophetic gift. That means God will frequently speak to a person and use that person to speak out to those whom He wants to speak to. The message will always be a personal message to an individual when it falls into the category of personal prophecy.

    4. God will speak in a still small voice.

The Prophet Elijah will be a perfect example of God’s way of speaking to us. The prophet had just been through a big spiritual battle with all the false prophets on the mount of Carmel and fled from the life-threatening message from Jezebel. He just wanted to quit. However, when God restored his prophet, Elijah, he heard the Lord speak to him in a new way, "a still small voice," as the scriptures stated. (1 Kings 19:11-13)

   5. God will speak through angelic beings.

The Lord will use angels to speak to us whenever he wants to. For example, God used two angels to save Lot and his family before he wanted to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah. (Genesis 19:1-17) God sent his angel to tell Joseph that he shouldn’t be afraid but should take Mary as his wife. (Matthew 1:20)

   6. God will speak through animals.

God will sometimes use a funny way to speak to us when we don’t pay attention to what he says. For example, the Lord used a donkey to speak to Baalem when this prophet wasn’t listening to God. (Numbers 22:29 –31) Do you remember how God spoke to Jonah and drew his full attention to speak to him? By using a big fish, Jonah started to really listen to God in the belly of this big fish (whether it was a whale or not, we are not sure). For Elijah, God used the ravens to bring him food day and night to show God’s providence and care for him as well. (According to 1 Kings 17:2–6)

   7. God will speak through the scriptures.

(which is the most important and our standard of discernment as well.)

As the apostle Paul said, "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." (2 Timothy 3:16-17). Nothing is more important than God’s written word. Although there are many ways that God will speak to us, no voice or message can be contradicted with God’s words, and we should use this as a standard and measurement of all the voices and messages that are claimed to be from God. In order to do so, you will at least have to read your Bible every day and do your Bible study often. Otherwise, it will be difficult for you to know what the scripture says about the message you will encounter, whether in a church or with an individual.

Conclusion

There are many other ways that God will speak to his people as well. As long as God uses it, we need to be aware of how God speaks to us. Will God only use the Scripture to speak to us? In principle, yes. In our daily situation? No, we can’t limit God, since God uses a variety of different ways to speak to his servants in the bible as well. Some people may argue that since the canon hasn’t been completed in that period of history, God would use different ways to speak. However, after the canon has been established and the New Testament churches have been built on solid foundations, we don’t need any other ways to listen to God except the Bible alone. Again, I can’t agree with people like that since we can’t limit God and God loves to speak to us in his own way with his own strategy. Since we are all created differently, some would receive a message with a vision or a dream in a better way. Some would be born with a rational mind. That type of person may be better able to communicate in a more logical way or with a written message on a piece of paper. It really depends on whether you are a right-brained or left-brained dominant person. God knows what the best way is for you to receive his voice, and we should never narrow down how God speaks to us. He knows what will be best for us in terms of communication, so just yield to the Holy Spirit and experience God’s voice in a new way. Whenever you encounter difficulties in hearing God’s voice, it is a wise decision to pray for confirmation and see how God will confirm his voice with the scripture and also by your Christian mentor or pastor, who knows how to discern God’s voice as well. Hearing God’s voice is an exciting experience and also a life-long learning process. I pray that you will become more mature in your communication with God each and every day, and don't be afraid to make mistakes along the way. One tip I can give you is that the more you draw near to Jesus, the more you can discern his voice. As Jesus says clearly, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me." (John 10:27) The more you draw near to Jesus, the more you know whether it is God’s voice or not. A sheep knows the voice of the shepherd due to their close relationship. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you in your communication with God, and I am sure your prayer will be rewarded.

What does the Bible has to say about healing ?

There are many Bible verses telling us that God heals . There are also many teaching from the Scripture telling us many things relating to healing and how to deal with diseases as well. The following 5 facts will help us to have a better understanding on the issue of healing.

1. Sickness and diseases are the result of sin

There are clear teaching in the bible saying that whenever God's people will obey God's command, they will be blessed (Deuteronomy 28:1-14). However, when God's people are walking away from God's words and committed in a sinful life and disobedience, it will cause many curses of God to come and diseases are one of the result from all  these curses. For in Deuteronomy (28:58-61), it said :

58 If you do not carefully follow all the words of this law, which are written in this book, and do not revere this glorious and awesome name--the LORD your God-- 59 the LORD will send fearful plagues on you and your descendants, harsh and prolonged disasters, and severe and lingering illnesses. 60 He will bring upon you all the diseases of Egypt that you dreaded, and they will cling to you. 61 The LORD will also bring on you every kind of sickness and disaster not recorded in this Book of the Law, until you are destroyed.

2. God will heal His people

God will never enjoy punishing His people and seeing them attack by diseases. However, since the result of sin is terrible and Satan will gain the power to attack on any people who doesn't obey God. God in His mercy still promised that He will be the healer of His people.

Exodus 15:26, "I am the LORD that health thee." He is truly a merciful God who is willing to heal our diseases and That's why he said it clear to His people that He will heal their sickness and diseases.

3. Jesus has already paid for our transgressions

We really have to thank God for Jesus, the son of God has came to this world to died for all our sin on the cross and because the 39 lashings on His back, we are healed. That's the payment for our healing. As what Isaiah 53:5 says that :

"But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed"

4.  All Christians have the authority to heal in the name of Jesus

Before Jesus leaved this world to heaven , He commanded His disciples to perform signs and wonders for the purpose of witnessing to the gospel. One of the authority he has already given to all the followers of Christ in Mark 16 :18 being that :

" they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well."

When we start to lay hands on the sick and command the sickness to be gone by faith, healing miracles will happen.

5. Healing is for today

There are no words in the Bible saying that God will only heal His people in the past but not today. In fact, the Bible clearly saying that  "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever." (Hebrew 13:8) That's why , all the followers of Christ can boldly pray for others healing without any doubt and fear.

Conclusion :

In order to remove all the obstacles that may become a hindering or blockage of healing, lead the person to confess one's own sin as what the Bible says that " If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9) (especially related to that particular disease and some need to deal with generational curses as well) and also dealing with unforgiveness"and forgive us our debts,as we also have forgiven our debtors."(Matthew 6 :12) are the usual two main areas that need to be solved before we can see healing take places. However, there are still many unknown reasons that we won't be able answer them all when dealing with non-healing issue after prayer, we can only being faithful to God's word and keep on praying for the sick and obey on God's command in this life.so....Go and start to pray for people and see healing miracles happen in the name of Jesus, now.

The insights from the passed away of Queen Elizabeth II about your time on earth

A sudden news and its impact on my mind

As I checked my Yahoo news today, many news articles were reporting about the death of Queen Elizabeth. A well-respected person not just for all the people of the United Kingdom, but also for many people of the commonwealth and all the people living on earth as well. Although I don't know her personally, but I know she was a great woman in her lifetime for all the things she has done to the United Kingdom. She has been a queen for 70 years, longer than any queen from her past. She has experienced all the difficulties and trials of the royal family and remains a very calm image in the public at all times. Although she has all the riches and glory during her realm as a queen, she has her beginning and an end as well. What does her death tells us? A passage from the Bible immediately pops up in my mind, and it is Psalm 90:10, which says, "The years of our life are seventy,
    or even by reason of strength eighty;
yet their span [c] is but toil and trouble;
they are soon gone, and we fly away."
When the queen finished her last breath on earth, she couldn't bring anything with her. Even I believe they will surely remember her name in human history. Her pass away also reminded me of one thing: who is the real king in this universe? Jesus is the king of glory and the ultimate authority of our life.

The King of suffering

Unlike the Queen Elizabeth II, who will always travel in a royal and prestige class of manner, Our Lord Jesus didn't live a life like that on earth. He was only born in a manger and also as a child of a carpenter, Joseph. He needed to escape from the death threat of Herod and went to Egypt with his parents. Jesus only rode on a donkey when he entered Jerusalem. He once told a teacher of the law who shown his interest in following Jesus that he doesn't even have a place to lay his head (Matthew 8:20). When Jesus died, he didn't die in a palace as what a king or a queen should be. They crucified him on the cross and were full of shame according to human standard. No glory, no respect, nothing to be honored about, but full of pain and sadness if we would just look at how he died on the cross. He was the king of suffering, and even one criminal who needed to crucify with Jesus also laugh at him in his dying process. (Luke 23:39). As the only Son of God, why did he have to go through all this, and why did he have to die like this? It is something that Christian can always answer but will always forget to meditate in a deeper way since the church has always talked about the answer already.

The king of glory

What is the answer, then? The answer being that Jesus has gone through all this and died in a painful way, just because he wanted to save us from eternal death. He didn't have to go through all this, but it was just out of God's love and Jesus' own submission and obedient to the Father. It was 100% out of his love for our human souls and didn't want to see any human to go to hell without hope, so he lived a life like that and die like that as well. It is out of his own choice. Unlike the queen who couldn't choose where she was born, Jesus could choose at the very beginning. He could choose not to become a human, but he chose as the Word became flesh (John 1:14), anyway. He lived a life to fulfill all the prophecy have said about him in the Old Testament. And the best part being that He just didn't die for us, he roused on the third day for us as well. He has already conquered death for us and he is living in the glory with the Father once again and someday he will come back in a glorious way to take his people with him forever. Yes. That's our Jesus, our king of glory. As a hymn saying that, "Oh, what a wonderful day it will be. Jesus is coming again!" Are you longing for that day? I surely do!

How should we then live?

For most of the British, the queen has already fulfilled her duty and responsibility as a queen supposed to. So does our king of glory, Jesus, who has already done what he could to finish the salvation plan as the Father had expected. What about you and I as " a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession," as the first part of Peter 2:9 stated? I pray I can surely "proclaim the excellencies of him who called me out of darkness into his marvelous light." As the last part of this Bible verse stated. I pray I can uplift the name of Jesus while I am still on earth and bring more people out of the darkness and enter the glorious kingdom like I did. How about you? Will you join this glorious team and serve the king of glory for the rest of your life? I pray you do. To God be the glory. Amen.

What can you do to help Ukraine and the rest of the world that is suffering?

An Easter unlike any other

I've experienced a lot of Easters in my life, but this one feels a little different. What did I mean when I said that? Because Ukraine is usually at the center of the news or a significant topic of discussion panels whenever I switch on my TV or go online to follow worldwide news. Despite the fact that I have never visited this country, I am concerned about its future, and my prayers are for this once charming and beautiful country. It's difficult to leave your home in this manner, especially if you enjoyed your previous residence. People, their faces and smiles, eateries, and the street corner where you used to chat with your pals all vanished without warning. Is it possible for me to experience all of their aches and pains? As you may recall from the Bible, Jesus and his parents, Joseph and Mary, were forced to abandon their homeland to Egypt when he was a newborn. And while he was on the cross, he endured all of the bodily suffering as well as the vile accusations leveled against him by his opponents."Father, why have you forsaken me?" Jesus exclaimed aloud. The Father separated him for that moment when he needed to bear all of mankind's sins. He clearly understands what it is to be in pain.

The Problem and Its Resolution

Is there still justice in this world when we see so many innocent people being slaughtered, bombed, tortured, and insulted? When all of this transpired, where was our God? Even though I have all the model answers from the Bible, I will nonetheless pose such a question with emotion as a pastor. I believe it is best for me to avoid the subject because I have so many unsolved questions in my emotions and so many already answered questions in my thoughts. But, in these trying times, I'm going to concentrate on what I can do to assist. Will I be the one to save the world? Of course, I won't because I'm incapable of doing so, and only Jesus, my savior, is capable of doing so. Will I remain silent in the face of such anguish? Not in the least. What options do I have? I've compiled the following list:

 1. If I can pray, you can as well.

 2. I can demonstrate my care and concern by keeping up with the news.

 3. I may contribute to those in need, as well as Ukrainian churches and refugees.

 4. Is there anything else? This is the next thought that comes to mind.

Do you want to contribute in your own way or in God's way?

I'm sure there are many additional methods to demonstrate our support for Ukrainians or other people in need around the world. However, it all depends on how much you're willing to give, and since everyone's situation will be different, we don't need to compare what each person should do. I believe God will show each person how to see and respond to diverse needs. If that's what you're capable of, go ahead and do it. Don't force yourself if you can't. You won't feel bad, and you won't feel obligated to contribute what you have. In the meantime, it's far better to ask God what he wants you to do about this issue. You will know that you are helping the Ukrainian or any other needy person in God's way if you can seek his will before you say yes or no to any decision or action.

Last but not least

When the battle is finished, and I am confident it will be ended regardless of the outcome, you and I will be able to stand before God and say, "I am doing what I can according to your will for me." I hope that my advise will be helpful to you in this situation. Another essay I wrote called "Discernment and Hearing God's Voice" discusses how to know what God wants you to do and what his will is for you to provide on this matter as an individual. I think you will have a better knowledge of this topic after reading my next essay. For the time being, God bless you.

How to experience a powerful prayer life ?

Every Christian who wants to experience the power of prayer need to learn how to pray.prayer can be  very simple to a child but sometimes it is hard for a grow up person. Why ? It is just because we grow up person make things too complicated  but a child make things simple. The best way to improve our prayer life is learn how to pray as a child, then we will see breakthrough in our prayer life. How can we do that? We can do that with the following steps :

1. Start to pray in the morning ?

I still remember the first time when I was experience  a revival in my prayer life after I had attended a church conference. It was just a 180 degree life change experience for me. Before this conference , I have already been a Christian for more than 15 years in the Evangelical realm. Prayer is just an important issue in my head but never in my heart. Actually prayer was a boring experience for me even I always attend the church prayer meeting in the past years. Why did I feel boring? There were two reasons for this problem? First of all, I have never enjoyed prayer because it was just like talking to a person who will never response in the air.Secondly,my former prayer experience in the church prayer meeting was just like a sitting in a meeting and listen to everybody's prayer one by one for an hour but I was only allowed to pray for three minutes for the whole night. All these have been changed after I experienced by prayer revival. I started to pray for an hour early in the morning when I woke up and worship the Lord at the same time. It was just like a fire within me and also a thirsty that motivated me to meet God in the morning with my morning prayer time. Was I tired ? Yes, I was but within my spirit I could feel the power and energy within me after 1 hour of prayer. The rest of the day was full of positive thinking in my mind and always wanted to praise God on those days. That's the reason why I highly recommended you can start your morning prayer all over again. Actually, there were many Christians in church history who have the similar experience as I did and I am sure I am not the only one who has such an experience in  the world as well.Commit yourself to pray for one hour in the morning and you will certainly experience the fire of prayer within you.

2. Start to improve your prayer habit.

Don't expect you can sit on a chair and pray for one hour because you will fall into sleep especially when you didn't have a good sleep the night before. First of all, stand before God and starting to praise Him with songs. Secondly, change your posture whenever you feel tired from one posture (eg. standing) to another posture (eg. walk around in your own room) and keep on praying out loud (but you don't have to wake up anybody who are still sleeping in your house) and that will keep you awake at all times. You can kneel down whenever you feel like it and you can open your eyes and praise God when you feel like falling into sleep during your morning prayer time. Most important of all is to keep you awake and you are praying.

3. Start to listen to God during the prayer time.

Prayer doesn't mean that you are the one who do the talking all the time because you need to let God speaks to you. God will speak to you by telling you in your mind that turn to certain passages or verse of the Bible. The Holy Spirit can speaks to you through a picture in your mind or a vision as well. Whatever God will say to you, just prepare a notebook and  a pen on your table and get ready to write it down or draw it down first. If you can't understand what it means for the time being, just keep asking the Lord about the meaning and He will let you know in times. The Holy Spirit is a great teacher in teaching you how to pray and get to know His voice. As the Bible says that "I tell you the truth, the man who does not enter the sheep pen by the gate, but climbs in by some other way, is a thief and a robber. The man who enters by the gate is the shepherd of his sheep. The watchman opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice. But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger's voice (John 10:1-5)." All you have to do is to getting familiar to His voice just like sheep get to know the voice of the shepherd and relationship and daily encounter with the Lord Jesus are the two main keys on listening to God. on the other hand, the more you obey on God's words, the more you can hear about His voice.

 Conclusion :

Your prayer life will be different if you are willing to ask the Holy Spirit to fill in your life. You will also experience the power of prayer in that one hour prayer and worship meeting with God. Once you can act like a child and keep up this prayer habit everyday. You will see a major breakthrough in your prayer life. Once you will enjoy prayer and really see God will speaks to you in a way that you are the only one who will gets it, you will start to enjoy your prayer life and you will hear God's voice often.

Top 10 reasons for unanswered prayer

There are times we will be full of questions in our mind that why didn't God answer our prayer? Although there are many reasons that God won't answer our prayer, there some reasons that we can find it from the bible. We will focus on the top 10 reasons why our prayers remain unanswered.

1. Refusing to hear the truth

If one turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer is an abomination.
                         (Prov. 28:9)

Have you even experience someone who knows that what they are asking for is not the will of God? But they make such a prayer anyway. Why ? They want something so bad that they didn't even care whether it is the will of God or not. This kind of prayer never can stand under the truth of God's word.

 2. Tempting or provoking God

But the LORD was angry with me because of you would not listen to me.And the LORD said to me, 'Enough from you; do not speak to me of this matter again.(Dt. 3:26)

Once God have already said a final "no " about an issue,
we better not to ask anymore.Look at Moses and you will know that.

 3. Lack of charity or love to others

Whoever closes his ear to the cry of the poor will himself call out and not be answered.(Prov. 21:13)

How can we expect God to hear us if we didn't even open our ear to hear the cry from the needy?

4. Lack of humility

If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.(2 Chron. 7:14)

There are times we just want to think that God needs to answer everything we ask even when we have failed Him. We didn't know that we really have to humble before the Lord and ask for His forgiveness and have mercy on us.

 5. A hardened heart

They made their hearts diamond-hard lest they should hear the law and the words that the LORD of hosts had sent by his Spirit through the former prophets. Therefore great anger came from the LORD of hosts. "As I called, and they would not hear, so they called, and I would not hear," says the LORD of hosts.
        (Zech. 7:12, 13)

We need to obey God's word at all times and bow down before Him. Someone had a hardened heart and you will never forget what happened to him and his kingdom. His name ------ Pharaoh of Egypt.

 6. Forsaking God

and he went out to meet Asa and said to him, "Hear me,Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin: The LORD is with you while you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will forsake you.(2 Chron.15:2)

We should always seek God's face and not forsaken His word if we want to see the result in our prayer life.

 7. Praying a miss (wrong motives)

You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions.(James 4:3)

We need to examine our own motive before we seek The Lord in prayer . For the Lord knows our heart and our motive and nothing can be hidden before Him. We can even deceive ourselves but not to God.We can fill in all the beautiful words of the Universe in our prayer, but a wrong motive can never move God to answer our prayer.

 8. Regarding iniquity

If I had cherished iniquity in my heart, the Lord would not have listened.(Ps. 66:18)

It is important to clear all the rubbish things in our mind before we start to ask God for anything. If our heart is right with God and stay in purity, no obstacles can block our prayer to heaven.

 9. Unbelief

He said to them, "Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there, and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you." (Mt. 17:20)

And Jesus said to them, "A prophet is not without honor, except in his hometown and among his relatives and in his own household." And he could do no mighty work there, except that he laid his hands on a few sick people and healed them. And he marveled because of their unbelief. And he went about among the villages teaching. (Mk. 6:4-6)

We need to ask God to build up our faith all the times and God will always train us with His way. Sometimes, it is not an easy training, but it helps us to grow in our prayer life. When faith is build up, sometimes it is just as tiny as a mustard seed, we can move the mountain with this tiny but pure faith.

 10. Sin

We know that God does not listen to sinners, but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does his will, God listens to him.(John 9:31)

Sin is the major obstacle that we really have to deal with if we want our prayer experience an answer from heaven.

Conclusion:

God wants to answer our prayer all the time and He wants to answer our prayer all the times if we can pray according to His will. What is His will? It is all in the Bible. If we can pray according to the words of God by faith. And if we can examined our hearts and motive and get right with God. We can be so confidence that our prayer will be answered according to God's timing. Amen.

How To Pray With The Lord's Prayer

Learning how to pray with the Lord's prayer with Jesus instruction is one of the most important lesson that we will receive from the bible about prayer. First of all, we need to take a look on this great prayer that Jesus taught us.

Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
Your Kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as in heaven
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins,
as we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours.
Now and for ever. Amen. (Matthew 6:9-13)

Highly recommended Necklace with the Lord's Prayer on it :

From this sample prayer , we can see the following instruction :

1. We are praying to our heaven Father whose name is Holy and worthy for our praise. That's why our prayer should start with praising God in our prayer , and not keep on asking God for this and that. When we start to pray, Jesus is saying that we need to focus on our heavenly Father but not focus on how we can solve our own problems. At the time, proclaim and mediate on the different names of God by praising His different Holy names will help us to remember who our God is. He is our provider, our healer , our Shepherd and our Almighty God as well. There are many names in the bible of God and all these names reflect on the different goodness and beauty of God Himself. When we praise His Holy name and mediate on who our God is, our problems becomes nothing or smaller in our mind.

2. We are praying for God's kingdom to come unto our life as it is in heaven. What is God's kingdom ? It simply means any place that God's rule has no obstacle in it and God's authority is moving in it's fullness in that area, and that's the kingdom of God. No wonder Jesus said God's kingdom is in our heart. That's why our prayer needs always invite God's will be done in every area of our life including our mind, our characters and every part of us ----- before we tell God about our problems.

3. We are praying for God's providence in our daily need. If you are worrying about your daily needs in your life regarding to finance, food, clothing, etc. That's when you should ask God for. No, not in the beginning of your prayer, not until you re-focus on God and who He is., not until you are inviting God's will be done in your life. It is only after you acknowledge God's authority in your life and have full access to every area of our life, then you can start to ask for your daily need and communicate to God about this practical issue. you can see what prayer is : First supernatural, then material or practical. This means that without first dealing with our Spiritual eyesight, we have no power and authority to deal  and overcome our physical needs with prayer. Since we tends to look at our problems and want to see it solve before we get to know that it is actually a relationship problem with our God ,so Jesus wants us to deal with this problem first before we can see our material or physical problems get solved.

4. We are praying for God' forgiveness and deal with our unforgiveness. Jesus is saying that we need to deal with our relationship with others to see if there is any unforgiveness that is still living in our heart. This is a self-examination moment that  we will make sure that we have no hatred and anger in our heart that the devils can use it as a weapon to attack us. As we proclaim forgiveness in our prayer time and declare that we will forgive those who has hurt us. Our heavenly Father would forgive us our sin as he always will. When our relationship with others and God has been dealt with, then our prayer can surely get to God's throne without any obstacle.

5. We are praying for God's protection in our daily life that we will always follow His will. Since we are at war with Satan and we are in a spiritual warfare at all times, we need to ask God to help us to escape from temptation and overcome every step that will lead us go astray. We really need God to deliver us from evil in our daily living since the devil is just like an roaring lion who is seeking for somebody to eat. We can't win this war without prayer and the power of God.

6. We are praying that God's realm is among us from now and forever. We don't just pray for what is happening on earth but always remember that our God is the ruler at all times and He will get the final victory at the end since Jesus has already won the battle on the cross.

Conclusion
With such a good model of prayer from our Lord Jesus, we can start to pray to our heavenly Father with power and authority. Prayer like this will be surely be answer by God and will always please Him in this divine communication process. The victory are always belong to God and His people and prayer according to God's will is the key. Amen.
